Trusera is the network where individuals connect through firsthand health experiences to take action. The Trusera network is available as a free, web-based service offering access to relevant, credible health experiences and the people behind them.
The Job
In this role you will help foster relationship-building within several different health and wellness communities like: autism, fertility, yoga, and breast cancer. You will act as an advocate for our user community by finding new ways to encourage user discussions and promote the needs of our members. You will constantly be looking for new ways to improve the user’s experience and improve the quality of our site.
Activities include:
- Manage forums and topic management: encourage user discussions, help users get the info they’re seeking, meet the needs of the users and the organization by creating new forums and topics and improving the current
- Initiate membership adoption plans though various campaign drives
- Define and monitor user policies for a safe and stress free user experience
- Work closely with the design team to enrich the platform, community tools and utilities
- Provide statistical evidence to support performance design and analysis
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years experience as an Online Community Manager at a public site
- Solid understanding of best practices for growing a world class online community program
- Technically savvy to have productive conversations with technical staff in the service of making or improving our product
- Excellent customer service skills
- Solid communication skills online and in person
- Strong, professional writing skills online and business documents
- A passion for and an understanding of how to leverage Web 2.0 tools for social change
