What are common Seattle area allergens, and what do you do to deal with them?

I'll start off by saying that since I've moved to Seattle from Salt Lake City, my pollen allergies have been much much easier to cope with. However, they do still exist, only now, I really dont know what allergens are causing them. I'm largely only having cloudy eye problems (too much mucal residue), and I felt fine until I was near UDub the other day and saw white puffballs flying around, reminding me of the cottonwood pollen that plagued my earlier days. How do you deal with allerigies?
