Journal Scary side effects

My rant today is exclusively in honor of blood pressure medicines: they scare me! I've been growing into my "fluctuations" these days (given the unreasonable stress in my life). Yesterday my doctor asked me to start tart taking my blood pressure meds again. Reluctantly I agreed. Why do I always fall for it? You don't want to upset them by saying "no" -- but you don't want to lie and say "yes" but not take it. So I said "yes" and I took it. And what happens? I woke up this morning unable to form a sentence disoriented, and spitting nails that I lost about 4 hours of a perfectly good workday because of.... none other.. than DRUGS! I didn't read "illogical babbling incomprehension, disorientation, and MAD as a COW" as the side effects on this drug.  I  feel like blood pressure meds deprive my brain and mess with my vision. I'm not a fan. Does anybody else have debilitating side effects from blood pressure medicine?

I didn't have problems with a blood pressure medicine (those never seemed to work for what I was taking them for), but the doc gave me some drugs after a car accident one time. ...
