Journal Wii coining a new phrase: "Wii-hab"

A great report aired on FOX News today about the Nintendo Wii - they called it Wii-hab. Cute, right? When Wii first came out it was marketed as a video gaming system to get kids physically active. Great idea - but it's not just for the kids anymore. Take your pick: tennis, boxing, golf or bowling and you have the makings of a victual athlete. Wii's popularity is growing like a virus! Living rooms are morphing into boxing arenas, bowling alleys and the center court of a Grand Slam. The privacy of your own home, the competition of your choosing, and the home team advantage (every time) - you can't beat it! Rather, you can... and you will!

Add to this: cardiovascular endurance training, no membership fees, and a 24 hour facility at your fingertips (literally) and you've found workout Nirvana: Nintendo Wii! <!--END OF FIRST COLUMN-->I started Shop4Cures to raise money for Dr. Faustman's human trials to cure diabetes. It's coming along -- but the road is still a long way to travel. Phase 1 began in December 2007, and the Lab anticipates Phase 2 will begin around June / July 2009.

If you were planning on buying a Nintendo Wii -- buy it through Shop4Cures and the proceeds from the sales commissions are donated to Dr. Faustman's Lab. It sounds easy because it is! Help me explain to the world how easy this cure would be if the moneycame from online shopping -- a BILLION DOLLAR industry. If we all used Shop4Cures we'd have these diabetes cure trials funded in no time!
