I'm glad I have pictures to remind me
I'm glad I have pictures of my mom. They help remind me of her face and bring back fond memories.
Here's a picture of my mom, dad, and my first dog QT. We always spent a lot of time together in this room, which we called the Play Room. It was an extension my parents added onto the house for us kids. It did eventually turn into the computer room as well, though.
In this picture my mom is proudly sporting her Virginia Tech shirt. You can also see the Virginia Tech Hokie bird on her monitor. My brother and I both went to VT. She was always proud of her three children and let it be known.
I constantly felt supported by my mom. She was proud of my accomplishments and loved me for who I am. That's one of the thigns I miss most. She was the person I could always count on to be there.
