Upcoming Trusera Features
I thought I'd share some of the ideas that we have on the short-term horizon for new features and feature improvements at Trusera. I'd love your thoughts or additional ideas. If you don't see your idea on the list, don't be concerned, but let me know!
Here are some of the features on our radar screen:
Notifications: We've been working on creating email notifications of activity in your network. For example, when a friend publishes a story or someone adds a comment to your journal or story, you'll have the option to get an email. This will be a handy way to keep up with your content and your friends on Trusera. (And don't worry, it'll come with the ability to select which emails you'd like to see!)
Ability to Insert a Picture: This name probably says it all; we're working on a simpler way to add pictures to your stories and journals.
Collections: We'll be creating a page of all the best content that we have on a health interest. This will include our large subjects, like Autism and Breast Cancer initially, but we'll be creating new ones as new stories, members, etc. are added to the site.
Alerts: If you've ever wanted to make sure that you didn't miss a great answer to a question or you wanted to track new content on a subject, we'll be adding alerts so that you'll automatically be notified when new content becomes available.
New Privacy Feature: Currently, you decide whether your whole journal is private or public. We're making this more flexible by adding entry-by-entry privacy settings. That way you can decide if today's entry is something you want to share without affecting all of your journal settings.
That's just a quick summary of some of the larger items on our list. What do you think? What's on your list? Feel free to add comments or send me a message.
Thanks, Jude
P.S. If you've got a minute, we've got a quick anonymous survey for members. It'll take just a minute, but it's a great way to collection your thoughts on how we're doing. Just click here to get started.
