The First Day of School
I think one thing that differs about having a child with Austism is that I longingly look forward to him starting school. Ok I'll be honest school takes a lot of his energy and he's got it coming out his little ears. But I also know that Noah does so much better when he's mentally stimulated like only his teachers can do for him. Thank God he is with the same teacher who was involved in so much of his progress last year. I admire so much what she does for him, Ms. Jurkowski is her name. I think besides immediate family in friends she's the only other person that took Noah in with arms wide open. No funny stares, or winces when he shrieks or squeals. Just a huge smile, like she knows exactly what he's trying to say. I'll never forget her for loving my son, no strings attached. God bless her and all the other teachers of children with special needs.
