Every time my parents (both type 1 diabetics) come to visit, out comes their mini-cooler from the car. Inside? Insulin, of course! From cooler to fridge it goes.
Do they haul that little cooler everywhere? What if they were traveling France? I hope they're not carrying that beat-up black cooler into the Louvre.
I just came across a sharp piece of diabetes gear that could take that ugly cooler right out of their hands and replace it with a little style.
Check out the CourageBag, offering two cold compartments for juice/sandwich/insulin, a removable diabetes compartment with pockets galore and then a separate, opposite side compartment for your day supplies -- cell phone, notebooks, wallet, keys -- you name it!
This snazzy 12x5x15" number is offered in red, black or blue, has a 33" adjustable strap, leather accents and cost $115. Cool.
Upon reading the product testimonials, I'm also realizing this bag is not just for people with diabetes. Parents of children with diabetes are big fans, too. Makes sense, they're schlepping 24x7.
