June 2008 Update:

Well, it took several months, but I've finally gotten used to sleeping with my new little gizmo (and the dog is totally used to it now, too).  I also have a new boyfriend who makes fun of it, but after he heard my snoring one night he is very encouraging and supportive (apparently I sound like a 300 pound male truck driver, which contradicts my outwardly petite appearance).  He called it my Darth Vader mask until I asked him politely to stop calling it that.  I prefer "snorkel gear", as it sounds much more adventurous.  Also, I give myself a break every few days.

I'm still struggling with my blood pressure, though...so trying to get more of a workout routine going.
