"Pink Nausea is Upon Us"

A friend runs an advocacy group for young people fighting cancer called I'm2YoungForThis.  I think of it as a really different, challenging take on the cancer world and a lot of the commercialism that comes with it. He's done some amazing YouTube videos in support of his group's cause and message. (I'll add some in a future post.)  Here's a sample from a recent email he sent me:

It's *that* time!

The PINKNAUSEA is upon us!

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It's not just Pink Cheerios! Now there's Pink Cat Food, pink Nintendo and pink Pepto Bismol. Join me with guests from Cancer 101 and Breast Cancer Action, originators of "Think Before You Pink" and advocates for honest cause marketing.

Mondays, *live* at 9pm Eastern (6pm Pacific)

Stupid Cancer! Survivors Rule!

I'm not personally affected by cancer, though like most people it has directly affected people in my family, so I'm not in a position to judge. I am very supportive of this kind of voice in the conversation, though.
