I know that many folks on Trusera are parents of children or caregivers of people managing conditions for which there is no known cure. I heard an NPR story this morning about some new research into Fragile X and the potential for treatment for autism. That work came out of a couple's inspiration from the movie Lorenzo's Oil. 

I've never seen the movie, but I thought it might provide an inspiration to others as well. I've added the trailer below. Here's a link to a BBC story of the true story behind Lorenzo's Oil.

I don't know if it's a good film, but some good things seem to be coming out of it.  Anybody see it?
