Living with Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer at 40 and grateful for it

The YouTube video you selected will be displayed here

I live with cancer running through my body, but I am grateful.  In July 2007, I was told I have 11 months to live. I am still here, and every day is a gift. Every day is a chance to help make it better for other women with breast cancer. Every day I can improve the chances that my young daughters won't one day have to live with this terrible disease.  I have metastatic breast cancer with lymph node involvement and extensive metastasis to the skeleton. But that doesn't stop me from thanking God for this beautiful life I have. I hope sharing my story will improve the ways cancer centers treat patients. I hope my story of hope will ease the fear and share the burden of those affected by breast cancer.  Most of all, I hope that sharing my story will compel One Woman to do a breast exam, get a mammogram, take action.
