Nintendo DS for Breast Cancer?

I get up this morning to check out what's going on in the world and came across this article about Nintendo:

The Nintendo DS Lite will now be available in a Limited Edition Pink Ribbon -- not just for girls mind you, breast cancer affects us all. While the polar white console doesn't include any games or nifty carrying case, five dollars of your $129.99 purchase will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, with Nintendo promising a minimum donation of $100,000.

Ok, as a big Nentendo fan, I think it's awesome they are doing this - but $5 of the $129.99 purchase?  This irritates me!  When I purchase items that benefit ANY of the many different breast cancer organizations, I try to limited those purchases to companies giving away more than 10%.  Nintendo is such a massive money making machine, I think they can afford to donate at LEAST $25 - Don't you agree?

Once upon a time Target used to sell some great items where they donated 100% of the proceeds to research.  The Breast Cancer Site will fund 1.0 % of a mammogram for most items purchased.  Now that can be a lot, as mammograms are not cheap!  They also fund free mammograms and all you have to do is click a link!  Which to me is so much better than a lousy $5....right?  So what are you waiting for, go click that link!  there are women in need of those free mammograms!
