I think I'm just as irritated by the response as I am the 'autism speaks' site.  They both claim to 'speak for' autistic people but I don't see an autistic concensus behind either one.  The response sounds very sensationally militant.

I just read a blog yesterday where the guy was contacted by the site he sold t shirts at because he mentions autism speaks and they contacted that site to get his shirts off there. I think it was cafe press or something similar. I do not support autism speaks at all.
