New controversy brewing in the autism world

It seems that a new soon-to-be-released book called Autism's False Prophets: Bad Science, Risky Medicine, and the Search for a Cure by Paul Offit is causing new controversy in the autism community.

Offit, who believes vaccines have no connection to autism whatsoever, asserts that the public has been led to believe in the vaccine-autism tie because of opportunism.

Many moms, such as Chantal who called into the show, vehemently disagree with him and are challenging his claims.

Listen to the NPR show and share your thoughts.
