All I can really say is, you can withhold every single vaccine, and still have a autistic child. Mine was autistic from Day One (he was even highly sensitive to the ultrasounds, enough to be noted on our chart by the doctor!) OUr child was autistic before having a single vaccine. 

All of my children get vaccinated, but I understand the fear. But as far as I can tell, all of the science says that vaccines don't cause autism. I certainly saw no correlation between my son's vaccines and his autism. Plus, so many of these diseases are so dangerous and even fatal. It's easy to forget that now that most people are vaccinated.

I knew long before my son had his first jab that something wasnt right, i think it is important parents still let there children be vaccinated. We forget int his day and age as these illnesses are uncommon how serious they can be.

I do think it's obnoxious to see scientists just blatantly ruling out something that could likely be attributed to autism.  Personally, I'm nervous and skeptical of vaccinations.

I agree with mom26children. As parents of autistic children, we have enough on our plates helping our children now and planning for their futures. If we spend all our efforts fighting about what happened to cause it, we lose valuable time loving and learning from our children.

Scientists are studying autism more now than ever before. Let them do their job, and let's move forward.

 I am convinced Autism is not caused by the MMR shot.  I am not convinced that there is a possible link to other shots...HepB or DTaP, for instance.

 After 17 years with an Autistic child, with more that followed, it is really not the causation that we focus on anymore.  We have to focus on their futures. 

  Now, I am up for that challenge !!!
