Sheryl Crow giving 10 percent of clothes sales proceeds to cancer center

Just read the below press release. Are you a fan of what she's doing for breast cancer awareness?

In observance of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Bootheel Trading Co. by Sheryl Crow, a newly created lifestyle brand inspired by the singer/songwriter's voice and vision will support cancer research by donating 10% of the proceeds from all retail sales of the apparel division during the month of October. Proceeds will benefit the Revlon/UCLA Breast Center, one of the nation's leading centers for comprehensive breast cancer treatment, and the Revlon/UCLA Women's Cancer Research Program, where efforts over the past 18 years have produced more effective, less toxic cancer treatments including the groundbreaking development of Herceptin (R).

As a breast cancer survivor, Sheryl Crow is an advocate for breast cancer research and awareness. Likewise Bootheel Trading Co. is a cause-minded lifestyle brand that promotes making positive changes in one's own life and the lives of others. The brand will align with the breast cancer cause as a key initiative in the coming seasons by continuing the make donations and creating specific products to benefit research and education.
The donation will be computed based on the sum of all apparel division retail sales generated in the U.S. during the month of October.
Debuting at Dillard's and other department stores nationwide this fall, the Bootheel Trading Co. apparel collection is a group of love-worn, easy-going jeans and tops inspired by Sheryl Crow's distinctive style. The collection goes beyond jeans and tees to offer women the laid-back, luxe lifestyle that Sheryl personifies at an affordable price. Retail price points for the Bootheel Trading Co. collection range from $25 for tops to $65 for jeans.
Nine-time Grammy award winner and internationally acclaimed singer/songwriter, Sheryl Crow, announced plans several months ago to collaborate with Canadian manufacturer Western Glove Works on a collection of denim based apparel under the singer's newly formed lifestyle brand Bootheel Trading Co. The debut collection will be comprised of a selective offering of mid-priced jeans, denim jackets and tops evoking a vintage Americana aesthetic, reminiscent of Ms. Crow's distinctive style. Western Glove Works is one of the largest designers and manufacturers of denim products in North America and manufactures the Silver Jeans, 1921, DVB and JAG Jeans brands.
