Biking is a breeze when there are no cars on the streets

Sunday was car-free Amsterdam, that means only taxi’s and bikes in the city. It was so amazing to have such freedom to ride through congested intersections with ease. It was a beautiful indian summer day, and we had a birthday party to attend.

But I think if we want to reduce gas emmissions, more large cities have to subscribe to a car free day or weekend. Just my eco- green advice, but as kermit the frog says: it’s not easy being green.

I am under the suspicion that environmental factors have to do with cancer. Not entirely, but a factor. Ie. Clean air, water, and other contaminants have a more serious affect on our bodies than we know. So this cancer patient was having the time of her life riding her battery powered bike, ane enjoying the clean air even if it was for one day.

If you are not a die hard bicyclist, Amsterdam is still a friendly city to get around on by bike and renting a bike to explore the city is a great way to tour because of the city's separate bike lanes through out the whole country. Come join the joy ride.
