simplify your life

I did simply my life when I got cancer. I had already simplified once I moved to europe with onoy 2 suitcases and an antique table that was on the container. Why of all things a table?

It was my grandfathers and I wanted a unique piece in an ultra modern house. I had a laptop slung over my body claiming to be my onboard purse and the love of my life waiting at the end of my 8 hour fight.

Dutch keep it simple. I was moving into a house that had everything in simple form. My kitchen was mistaked for a pantry, my toilet is in a closet, called the water closet-WC. I have the luxury of a bath tub when many only have showers. My bath is also home to my washer, and later a dryer, which is also a luxury by Dutch standards.

Keep it simple stupid, the beauty and relaxation of hanging your wash and talking to your neighbors has fallen from the wayside. My hubby calls it the slippery slope when you don't know your neighbors.
