I'm a cancer pre-vivor, who tested positive for a BRCA2 mutation around 3 years ago. I have a Ph.D. in cell biology, and my dissertation project was on Vitamin D and breast cancer - it's my favorite vitamin (which is really a hormone!). :) I have a wonderful husband, a bratty cat, and a goofy dog - it's a great life!

    I am sure you have read my story and I want you to know I would do the prophylactic masectomy if I were you for sure! Do not delay! I am sure insurence will cover it...
