Thanks also for the advice! As far as the pain goes for recovery, they should set you up with some pain meds to take care of that.  I don't know if you'll be an inpatient or if you're doing a day surgery. If it's inpatient, make sure the meds work well before you leave. If it's outpatient, you always are able to call the doctor's office if the meds aren't working and you need something else. I know it's scary, but I think you'll be happy you did it and it's over with!
