Thanks for your info. I understand the surgical procedure for inguinal hernia is rather simple, but the recovery is painful and it takes at least two weeks...anyway I'll have to do it sooner or later.
My advice for you to prevent the every day stress  is to  read a good novel or watch a good movie, that way you will erase the stressful events of the day from your mind.

Any time. I've had a long and storied past with anxiety, stress and depression, large portions of which I've overcome without the need for medications. I went to a great therapist for a very short time (he was in his mid-80s and unfortunately died after only a month or two of working together), but he instilled in me much of the advice I gave you. He took me from being a scared, scarred guy who couldn't talk to anyone he didn't know into a much calmer, more peaceful person who often times won't shut up. :D

Hey XTrauma! Congrats on the upcoming anniversary! My wife and I went to Belize for our honeymoon and totally dug it. Where are you planning to go? We did the classic beach=>jungle=>island thing. Hard not to love.
