I am a working Mum with a wonderful 7 year old son who is the light of my life. We are currently undergoing assessment for possible Asperger Syndrome / Dyspraxia.

We will be having screening with an educational psycologist called Madeline Portwood. She is a leading authority on Dyspraxia, but from Aaron's history she suspects that he has 'text book' symptoms for AS. She will score his Emotional and Intelligence IQ and then compare the two (it is expected that there would be a distinct difference between them in a person with AS) together with his history and reports from school she will make a diagnosis. She has a book and self help kit for Dyspraxia, but has this condition, AS, Dyslexia and ADHD are all linked by the same part of the brain, her techniques can help with all these conditions.
