I was watching the news (well, NBC Nightly News, to be specific) last night, and they ran a story on children with allergies and asthma attacks. The key point was that a doctor was equipping his child patients with camcorders, and letting them document their environments, their symptoms, and their attacks. As I mentioned in my story about dog allergies, I live in a complex surrounded by large, shedding dogs. Luckily, we (my girlfriend Sabrina and I) will be moving out in a week or so. I felt that maybe I should expound a little about that. I moved up to Seattle in a hurry. I recently picked up a book called "Eating right for a bad gut" (or something to that effect). I've only started reading it, but it's pretty fascinating. Patty suggested a book on Specific Carbohydrate Diet, which I picked up, but after a cursory thumb-through, I decided against getting too in depth with the diet without actually knowing what's wrong with my digestive tract.
