My daughter left a message today saying that some of the poorer medical insurances might call Aspergers a preexisting condition, but thought that most wouldn't and there wouldn't be much problem with it. Maybe you should ask a number of people on different medical insurances how it works for them and you could get an idea, or call the insurances you want to know about and ask them without getting into the rest of it. Sorry I can't come up with a definitive answer, but it probably takes asking around. Good luck.

Do you know if Aspergers is a preexisting condition on medical insurance, ie. I might not want an official diagnosis because it will keep me from being able to get medical coverage? Thanks, Eric
